What is Shrink Wrap?
Shrink wrap is an environmentally friendly product that has a variety of different uses. Shrink wrap is great for keeping out sun, rain, snow and moderate winds to preventing harmful particles from entering the environment.
Shrink wrap is a specially formulated, high strength polyethylene film that, when heated, conforms perfectly to the surface it is applied to and will shrink up to a third of its original size. The material itself is fire retardant and contains UV inhibitors.
Elements generally uses a 9 mil shrink as it strikes the perfect balance between strength and affordability. We also offer a 12 mil for the more demanding jobs as well as thinner 6 and 7 mil for lighter jobs. Shrink comes in a number of different colours with white being the most popular.
Why Use Shrink Wrap?

- Is less likely to blow off and leave the work environment exposed to the weather, minimizing down time that may affect your bottom line.
- Forms a more continuous cover than tarps by welding the sheets together which minimizes leakage, protects exposed surfaces and contains hazardous materials.
